Ting Zhou is a multi-disciplinary designer with a focus on book design, motion graphics, identity design and photography. Originally from China, she graduated from the Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication in 2007 with a degree in art design. Ting received her MFA degree in visual communication design from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2013.
She delivers designs that are simple, clean and functional. The basis of what she offers as a designer is problem-solving. The inspiration behind her artwork often comes from her childhood memories, from food and from her daughter. She also has a profound love for capturing the beauty of individuals, human connection, real-life moments and the uninhibited spirit of children.
Now Ting lives and works in Storrs, Connecticut with her husband Ying and her two children Cecilia and Anderson.
